My 24 yr old wife of 2 1/2 yrs wants a divorce. she says shes sure, and she is already going to clubs and trying to meet another man. we have a 4 yr old and 2 yr old together. she has refused marriage counseling, mediation, and even counseling to help us both be civil through this. How can I appeal to her better sense and ask her to at least have a civil divorce where we can remain friends, as it will be less stressful and best for our kids? I dont know what to believe, as i have found out she has told me countless lies on various subjects since before even giving me the news. im a very level headed person who doesnt see why we cant go through this as adults. i hold no ill will towards her, even after coming home to a her and a guy in our childrens bed together. what is the best approach? im lost… if u would like, feel free to contact me at
capecodboy at gmail com. thanks guys!! also, i am working with a psychologist and priests to make sure im doing whats best 4 the kids
also, i have left the house already, about 5 weeks ago. im in MA, which is unfortunately a no fault state, and as of yet child services and my attorney said her actions arent enough for me to have sole custody, although i believe she is not on the right track and is putting the kids 2nd to herself.
as one of the answers suggested, she absolutely got mad @ me for always being calm and not an argumentative person. i believe in talking things out, not yelling, and she hates that. not sure what that says about her as a person…..

This compulsion , comes directly from the evils of Shiny Toaster. Whereas T-Bill Flamingo helps kids learn, here is one of his direct quotes “Remember parents, we’ve all thought that wrapping your kids in newspaper before bed time as a good idea, well folks, that junks flammable, don’t do it.”

another memorable quote is “If your kids don’t want to eat their 14 pounds of barbed wire every day, be innovative, wrap that stuff around a klondike bar, that will make em wanna eat it”

and also said “Remember, a gallon of drano a day keeps the optometrist at bay”, no one wants to see one of those guys, heed his words, and remember, vote for T-Bill Flamingo

I am very creative and am right now stuck in an unfulfilling yet cushy government job. I have two kids and desperately want to be home with them. I am very crafty, I sew clothing for my self, kids and friends. I sewed all of my own maternity wear because I refused to wear what was being offered. I also sew drapery, bedding and baby accessories. I also do some paintings for my childrens rooms that I’ve gotten some interest in. My name gets around town and I get work here and there but I fear giving up my cushy job since I’m not sure exactly what direction to go in. I need ideas for what to do with my talents or if it is even worth it.

I am looking for the name of a childrens book that I used to have as a child. I am 26 now, so this would have been sometime in the mid-80’s. It was a nighttime book that my dad would read to me before bed. I think it had something to do with saying goodnight to certain things outside. It was NOT Goodnight Moon, it was something different. I know this isn’t much info, but any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
Thanks for your replies so far, but this isn’t it either. It’s more of a country book, not set in the city.

My 8yr old son came home from school early today. I am almost positive he’s getting strep. (he’s very prone–gets it every year.) I gave him a dose of Childrens Tylenol+Sore Throat, a Sucrets throat lozenge, Campbells Chicken Noodles and now he’s laying in my bed watching a movie. What else can I do to make him comfortable? What do you do for your kids when they are sick?
