My 24 yr old wife of 2 1/2 yrs wants a divorce. she says shes sure, and she is already going to clubs and trying to meet another man. we have a 4 yr old and 2 yr old together. she has refused marriage counseling, mediation, and even counseling to help us both be civil through this. How can I appeal to her better sense and ask her to at least have a civil divorce where we can remain friends, as it will be less stressful and best for our kids? I dont know what to believe, as i have found out she has told me countless lies on various subjects since before even giving me the news. im a very level headed person who doesnt see why we cant go through this as adults. i hold no ill will towards her, even after coming home to a her and a guy in our childrens bed together. what is the best approach? im lost… if u would like, feel free to contact me at

also, i have left the house already, about 5 weeks ago. im in MA, which is unfortunately a no fault state, and as of yet child services and my attorney said her actions arent enough for me to have sole custody, although i believe she is not on the right track and is putting the kids 2nd to herself.
as one of the answers suggested, she absolutely got mad @ me for always being calm and not an argumentative person. i believe in talking things out, not yelling, and she hates that. not sure what that says about her as a person…..

I am very crafty, I sew clothing for my self, kids and friends. I sewed all of my own maternity wear because I refused to wear what was being offered. My name gets around town and I get work here and there but I fear giving up my cushy job since I’m not sure exactly what direction to go in. the problem i am having is that i am trying to find this one childrens book. i must have lost it moving or something. well in this book this girl and her younger sister are on this boat. on this boat there are tropical birds and plants i think she got some of her food from the plants and fished for the rest of her supper. i remember her feeding her younger sister and taking care of her. kinda like playing mommy. then this storm ends up hitting and she is trying to bring the boat out of it. i am pretty sure that the next thing you know she is back in her own bed at home. if anyone out there knows what book i am talking about please if you would help me. i remember reading it when i was little and now that i am going to have a little one of my own i would love to read it to him. any help would be great! thanks

My 8yr old son came home from school early today. I am almost positive he’s getting strep. (he’s very prone–gets it every year.) I gave him a dose of Childrens Tylenol+Sore Throat, a Sucrets throat lozenge, Campbells Chicken Noodles and now he’s laying in my bed watching a movie. What else can I do to make him comfortable?
